002—AFRO-CONSTRUCTIVISM
Afro-constructivism is a variety of cognitive & social constructivism that emphasizes the collaborative nature of African learning and expression. Like social constructionism, Afro-constructivism emphasizes the need for people of African descent to work together to construct artifacts, illuminate their minds and push culture forward. This Poster Series explores the divine meaning behind the number seven (7) and it’s energetic alignment with the universe.
003—THINKIN’ FOR A CHANGE
Thinkin’ For A Change is a lyrical hand-lettering series that explores the documented stories of injustice, police brutality and racial violence & discrimination in our communities. TFAC aims to disrupt the current societal prejudice thinking & actions towards people of African descent. TFAC Vol. 2 series features 28 different lyrical pieces for each day of Black History Month (Feb.) in the United States. Selected artist lyrics include; Bob Marley, Jay Z, Nas, Meek Mill, Young Roddy, Nipsey Hussle, Damian Marley, Jim Jones…etc.
